KHS Commemorates Anniversary of Martyrdom of Imam Sadiq (AS), Jaafari School’s Founder

With deep sorrow, followers and lovers of Ahlul-Bayt recalls the martyrdom of Imam Jaafar Al-Sadiq, Ahlul-Bayt’s sixth Imam, the founder of Al-Jaafari School. On this sad anniversary, KHS Secretariat General held mourning sessions within the Holy Courtyard. The program included reciting some verses of the Holy Quran and delivering lectures. The pulpit was ascended by his eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al-Amiri who touched on some aspects of Imam Sadiq’s life and explained the responsibilities that he undertook in enlightening Muslims and his motives for leading a movement of intellectual reforms. Many poems were recited during the event which was attended by masses of visitors.
